People are starting to understand what it means to live in a grocery store, and that includes me.
When I walked into a grocery in the fall of 2015, I didn’t know I wanted to be a grocery delivery person.
I didn, at first, think I wanted it for the money.
But the time, the location, the perks and the convenience have been worth it.
Now, with the rise of Whole Foods Market, I realize I can’t leave the store without feeling like I’ve earned the experience I was looking for.
I’m no longer just a regular grocery delivery driver.
In fact, my grocery delivery hours have increased from two to four.
But it’s also made me more comfortable as a person.
Before, I could barely find my way around a grocery without stopping to check out a few items.
Now I can get a few things in front of me at once and have a clear view of the whole store.
It also means that when I need to make an appointment, I’m not worried about running out of time or forgetting to bring the item to my home.
It’s just me and the items I need, and I’m in control of my time.
I’ve learned to accept being on my own.
I don’t want to feel guilty about shopping in a store that is always busy and always has a few extra items on sale.
I can relax, and the store is there for me.
If you’ve been shopping for groceries and you’ve experienced some of the same things I have, share your experience in the comments below.
The best part is that I get to share the good with you.
